The evidence will help to inform the government’s third UK Climate Change Risk Assessment, due to be published in 2022.
Every five years, the UK government must carry out an assessment of current and future risks to the country from climate change.
To inform the 2022 risk assessment, the Department for the Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (Defra) has asked the CCC to prepare an independent “evidence report” by 2021.
The Call for Evidence is available on the University of Exeter’s website.
The closing date for submissions is Friday 10 May, 2019.
