ONS have published new data on the characteristics of people testing positive for coronavirus, the behaviour of the vaccinated population after being in contact with a positive case, and the social impacts of coronavirus on disabled people.

There has been an increase in reinfections among Coronavirus Infection Survey participants in the last month, since Omicron became the dominant variant, compared with the previous 18 months.

The proportion of disabled people who were "very" or "somewhat worried" about the effect the pandemic was having of their life has increased since restrictions eased in summer 2021.

While the majority of fully vaccinated people (70%) did daily lateral flow testing after being in contact with a positive coronavirus case in January 2022,

more than a third of those who took part in daily testing (35%) never intended to report their test results.
