Coronavirus (COVID-19) latest insights 27 September 2021

ONS published an analysis of different groups' likelihood of testing positive for coronavirus (COVID-19) in September 2021. 

  • People living in households of three or more had a higher likelihood of testing positive than those in single occupancy households. 

  • Other groups of people with a higher likelihood of testing positive for COVID-19 included people in younger age groups, those living in more deprived areas, and those who had not been vaccinated against the virus.
