New data show that children and those aged around 30 years were more likely to test positive for the coronavirus (COVID-19) than people of other ages.
Data on the characteristics of people testing positive for COVID-19 in the fortnight up to 12 March also show that people from ethnic minority groups were less likely to test positive than those reporting White ethnicity.
People living in multigenerational households were less likely to test positive than people not living in multigenerational households
