Coronavirus (COVID-19) latest insights 5 November 2021

ONS have published the latest data from the Coronavirus (COVID-19) Infection Survey, and analysis of coronavirus and the social impacts on Great Britain. 

The estimated percentage of people living in private households (not in hospitals, care homes and/or other communal establishments) that had COVID-19 in the most recent week was:

  • 2.02% in England (1 in 50 people), compared with 2.02% (1 in 50 people) the week before

  • 2.39% in Wales (1 in 40 people), compared with 2.56% (1 in 40 people) the week before

  • 1.49 % in Northern Ireland (1 in 65 people), compared with 1.31% (1 in 75 people) the week before

  • 1.25% in Scotland (1 in 80 people), compared with 1.36% (1 in 75 people), the week before

Around 9 in 10 (92%) adults who have received two doses of a COVID-19 vaccine would be very or fairly likely to have a booster vaccine if offered.
