ONS published the latest responses to our business survey, indicators of traffic levels compared with pre-lockdown, and analysis of the impacts of COVID-19 on disabled adults. Some of the main points include:

One-tenth of businesses who are open for business or paused trading report facing a “moderate” risk of insolvency, while another 1% said they face a “severe” risk

The daily road traffic index from the Department for Transport (DfT), comparing traffic on roads in Great Britain with the same day in the first week of February 2020, shows the number of vehicles climbing back towards levels seen before lockdown

Car road traffic is around 10 percentage points lower compared with the first week of February 2020, but volumes of heavy goods vehicles and light commercial vehicles on the roads have returned to pre-lockdown levels
