Coronavirus (COVID-19) roundup: 28 April 2020

ONS have published data on weekly deaths registrations in England and Wales, including deaths involving COVID-19. Some of the main points include:

• There were 19,112 deaths involving COVID-19 registered up to 17 April
• So far there have been more deaths among men than women (11,405 compared with 7,707)
• Most deaths involving COVID-19 have been among those aged 65 and over (16,690 out of 19,112)
