Global Climate change could bring ‘floods, droughts and blackouts’ to UK and beyond

A study from C40 Cities, the Global Covenant of Mayors, the Urban Climate Change Research Network and climate advisory company Acclimatise has warned that London and other cities around the world could face floods, droughts and blackouts by 2050 as a result of climate change. The impacts of climate change could for example put £200m in assets at risk, threaten 1.25m people who live along the Thames in London and the surrounding area, the study warned.
