Measles cases hit record high

Cases of measles in Europe have hit a record high, according to the World Health Organization (WHO), with over 41,000 people infected in the first six months of 2018, leading to 37 deaths.
In England, there have been 807 laboratory confirmed measles cases, according to Public Health England and reported on BBC News, with the highest numbers seen in London (281), the South East (166), the South West (139), the West Midlands (84) and Yorkshire and Humberside (75).
