The impact of Covid-19 on disabled people

The Nuffield Trust chart of the week by Camille Oung and Lauren Elias highlights the disproportionate impact of the pandemic on the health and wellbeing of disabled people.

Almost a quarter (23%) more disabled people experienced difficulties accessing health care for non-Covid-related issues compared to non-disabled people, and a fifth more reported lower levels of wellbeing due to boredom, stress, and anxiety.
