Health & Safety Executive understand that Christmas is a special time of year.
Even so, they suggest it doesn't stop health and safety being - wrongly - cited as a reason for preventing pretty harmless activities from going ahead.

In the run up to Christmas they will be publishing on their website the top twelve festive myths, gifted to Health & Safety Executive from media reports and correspondence received.
